Shanta Hogan-Walker is married to her loving and devoted husband Jessie Walker, and the mother to three amazing children, Tynaya, Derrick, and Kamren. Shanta is a woman of Faith and absolutely loves serving in God’s house and in the community.

 

In November 2017, Shanta and her family faced some difficult times and became homeless for 96 days, it was in this time that she prayed and asked God to please bring her and the family out of this rough season. Shanta promised God that when he brought her out of this situation that she would go back and help other families that may be going through the same things and with a lack of resources and help.

In 2018 the name “Cora’s Helping Hands” was only a vision, but now has turned into a nonprofit organization. Shanta Hogan Walker is the Founder and CEO, and she is currently serving in many different communities, helping families of all Nationalities serving with excellence and love.

​

Cora’s Helping Hands Inc. is intentional about serving and meeting the individual needs whatever that may be at the time.

 

Shanta’s heart desires to begin seeing the change in the community and families by taking them from stagnating to flushing and living a life of abundance!
